Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1–2 jalapeños, finely diced
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon pectin (optional for thicker jam)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Chop strawberries and jalapeños.
- Combine fruit, sugar, lemon juice, and salt in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat.
- Simmer 15–20 minutes until thick.
- Stir in pectin if desired.
- Pour into jars and cool.
