Ingredients
- 1½ lbs ground beef
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix ground beef with breadcrumbs, egg, milk, and seasonings.
- Spread half mixture and add mozzarella in the center.
- Cover with remaining meat mixture.
- Top with marinara sauce.
- Bake 50–60 minutes.
- Rest, slice, and serve.
