A decadent and healthy twist on the classic Tiramisu, this Viral Tiramisu Chia Pudding is a guilt-free dessert or breakfast that’s incredibly easy to make and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
- Optional toppings: whipped cream, chocolate shavings, cocoa powder dusting
Instructions
- In a jar or bowl, combine chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cocoa powder.
- Stir well to ensure no clumps form.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, until thickened.
- Before serving, stir the chia pudding.
- Pour the cooled coffee or espresso over the chia pudding.
- Gently swirl the coffee into the pudding to create a marbled effect, mimicking the tiramisu layers.
- Top with optional whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa powder.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can use a full-fat milk.
- Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
- Ensure the coffee is completely cooled before adding to prevent the chia seeds from cooking.
