Description

A decadent and healthy twist on the classic Tiramisu, this Viral Tiramisu Chia Pudding is a guilt-free dessert or breakfast that’s incredibly easy to make and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, chocolate shavings, cocoa powder dusting

Instructions

  1. In a jar or bowl, combine chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cocoa powder.
  2. Stir well to ensure no clumps form.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, until thickened.
  4. Before serving, stir the chia pudding.
  5. Pour the cooled coffee or espresso over the chia pudding.
  6. Gently swirl the coffee into the pudding to create a marbled effect, mimicking the tiramisu layers.
  7. Top with optional whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa powder.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can use a full-fat milk.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
  • Ensure the coffee is completely cooled before adding to prevent the chia seeds from cooking.
  • The pudding can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
