Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs in a baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Pour over meatballs.
  5. Add drained pineapple chunks to the baking dish around the meatballs.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and pineapple is heated.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the teriyaki sauce.
