Easy and delicious strawberry chocolate chip cookies made from a cake mix.
Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water.
- Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, bake for a shorter time. For crispier cookies, bake for a longer time.
- You can substitute white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips for the chocolate chips.
- Add a tablespoon of freeze-dried strawberry powder for an extra strawberry flavor boost.
