Description

Skrewball Whiskey Balls are a delightful and decadent treat, combining the unique peanut butter and whiskey flavor of Skrewball Whiskey with a creamy, chocolatey coating and a crunchy cookie base. These no-bake balls are perfect for parties, holidays, or simply as a delicious indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (about 10-12 cookies)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional, for extra crunch)
  • 1 cup melted semi-sweet chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil (for melting chocolate)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, softened cream cheese, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, and powdered sugar. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  2. If using, stir in the chopped peanuts.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the balls for at least 30 minutes, or until firm. This will make them easier to coat.
  5. While the balls are freezing, melt the chocolate chips or candy melts. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, use a double boiler.
  6. Dip each frozen whiskey ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork or a toothpick to help coat and lift the balls. Let any excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Place the coated whiskey balls back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate coating has set.
  9. Store Skrewball Whiskey Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a stronger peanut butter flavor, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter to the mixture.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of cookies for the base, such as Oreos or chocolate chip cookies.
  • You can drizzle extra melted chocolate over the balls for decoration once the initial coating has set.
  • Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the mixture.
