Description

A creamy and indulgent white hot chocolate infused with the warm spices of pumpkin, perfect for a cozy autumn treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk (whole milk recommended for creaminess)
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, extra pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  2. Stir constantly until the mixture is heated through and just begins to simmer. Do not boil.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the white chocolate chips until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
  5. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon stick, if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of milk.
  • Adjust the sugar and pumpkin pie spice to your personal preference.
  • If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice, you can use a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  • White chocolate can be sensitive to heat; ensure the milk is not boiling when you add the chocolate.
