Description

A delightful fusion of classic pecan pie flavors baked into easy-to-make crescent rolls, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 4 rectangles. Pinch the seams together to form a solid rectangle.
  3. In a small bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  4. Divide the pecan mixture evenly among the 4 crescent roll rectangles, spreading it over the surface.
  5. Roll up each rectangle tightly, starting from one of the long sides, jelly-roll style.
  6. Place the rolled crescent rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, toast the pecans before chopping.
  • You can add a drizzle of caramel sauce after baking for an extra decadent treat.
  • Ensure the seams of the crescent rolls are well pinched to prevent the filling from leaking out.
