Description
A delightful fusion of classic pecan pie flavors baked into easy-to-make crescent rolls, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 4 rectangles. Pinch the seams together to form a solid rectangle.
- In a small bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.
- Divide the pecan mixture evenly among the 4 crescent roll rectangles, spreading it over the surface.
- Roll up each rectangle tightly, starting from one of the long sides, jelly-roll style.
- Place the rolled crescent rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.
Notes
- For extra crunch, toast the pecans before chopping.
- You can add a drizzle of caramel sauce after baking for an extra decadent treat.
- Ensure the seams of the crescent rolls are well pinched to prevent the filling from leaking out.
