Description

These Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Bars are a deliciously easy treat, perfect for a hot day or a healthy dessert option. They combine the creamy sweetness of yogurt with the rich flavor of peanut butter, all frozen into convenient bars.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk (any kind, for smoother consistency if needed)
  • Optional: Chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, or a drizzle of chocolate for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  2. If the mixture is too thick, you can add the milk a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  3. Pour the mixture into silicone popsicle molds or small paper/plastic cups. If using cups, insert popsicle sticks once the mixture is partially frozen.
  4. If adding toppings like chocolate chips or chopped peanuts, gently stir them into the mixture before pouring into the molds, or sprinkle them on top.
  5. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely firm.
  6. To serve, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to help release the bars.

Notes

  • Ensure your peanut butter is creamy and well-stirred for the best texture.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
  • For a firmer bar, you can reduce the amount of milk or omit it entirely.
  • These bars can be stored in the freezer in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
