Description
These Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Bars are a deliciously easy treat, perfect for a hot day or a healthy dessert option. They combine the creamy sweetness of yogurt with the rich flavor of peanut butter, all frozen into convenient bars.
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk (any kind, for smoother consistency if needed)
- Optional: Chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, or a drizzle of chocolate for topping
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- If the mixture is too thick, you can add the milk a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
- Pour the mixture into silicone popsicle molds or small paper/plastic cups. If using cups, insert popsicle sticks once the mixture is partially frozen.
- If adding toppings like chocolate chips or chopped peanuts, gently stir them into the mixture before pouring into the molds, or sprinkle them on top.
- Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely firm.
- To serve, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to help release the bars.
Notes
- Ensure your peanut butter is creamy and well-stirred for the best texture.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
- For a firmer bar, you can reduce the amount of milk or omit it entirely.
- These bars can be stored in the freezer in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
