Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, ground flaxseed, mini chocolate chips (if using), and vanilla extract.
- Stir until all ingredients are well combined and a sticky dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
- Place the energy bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.

- For a firmer texture, you can add a tablespoon or two more oats.
