Ingredients

  • 6 cups popped popcorn
  • 10 oz marshmallows
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: colored candy melts, sprinkles for decoration


Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan or springform pan.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallows and butter. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and melted.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Add the popped popcorn to the melted marshmallow mixture and stir until well coated.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared cake pan.
  6. If desired, melt candy melts according to package directions and drizzle over the top. Add sprinkles.
  7. Let it set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate for faster setting.
  8. Once firm, carefully remove from the pan and slice to serve.
