Description
A quick and easy no-bake cake made with popcorn and marshmallows, perfect for a fun treat.
Ingredients
- 6 cups popped popcorn
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: colored candy melts, sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan or springform pan.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallows and butter. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and melted.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Add the popped popcorn to the melted marshmallow mixture and stir until well coated.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared cake pan.
- If desired, melt candy melts according to package directions and drizzle over the top. Add sprinkles.
- Let it set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate for faster setting.
- Once firm, carefully remove from the pan and slice to serve.
Notes
- Ensure popcorn is fresh and popped for the best texture.
- Be careful when working with melted marshmallows as they are very hot.
- For a more festive look, use different colored candy melts and sprinkles.
