A spicy and flavorful Korean-inspired baked cauliflower dish, perfect as a side or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onions, sliced, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
- In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with the vegetable oil until evenly coated.
- Add the sauce mixture to the cauliflower and toss to ensure all florets are well coated.
- Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized, flipping halfway through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of gochujang to control the spice level.
- For extra crispiness, roast the cauliflower for a few extra minutes.
- Can be served with rice or as part of a larger meal.
