A spicy and flavorful Korean-inspired baked cauliflower dish, perfect as a side or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with the vegetable oil until evenly coated.
  4. Add the sauce mixture to the cauliflower and toss to ensure all florets are well coated.
  5. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized, flipping halfway through.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
