Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 (8 ounce) package cocktail sausages or mini hot dogs
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create smaller triangles.
- Place one cocktail sausage at the wide end of each dough triangle.
- Roll the dough up around the sausage, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point.
- Place the rolled sausages seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the pigs in a blanket with the beaten egg wash.
- Sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds, if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
