Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions.
- On a clean surface, flatten each portion of beef mixture into a rectangular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Sprinkle a portion of the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over each flattened beef rectangle.
- Carefully roll up each beef rectangle from one end to the other, enclosing the cheese. Pinch the seams to seal.
- Place the rollups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For an extra garlic flavor, you can add another clove of minced garlic to the beef mixture.
- Feel free to use your favorite type of cheese, such as Monterey Jack or a blend of cheeses.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, like ketchup, mustard, or a garlic aioli.
