Description

Easy and refreshing frozen blueberry swirl yogurt bites, perfect for a healthy snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup blueberry jam or puree
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, blueberry jam or puree, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir gently until the jam is swirled through the yogurt, creating a marbled effect. Be careful not to overmix, as you want distinct swirls.
  3. Spoon the mixture into a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag with a corner snipped off.
  4. Pipe small dollops of the swirled yogurt mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until the bites are firm.
  6. Once frozen, transfer the yogurt bites to an airtight container and store in the freezer.

Notes

  • For a thicker consistency, you can use strained Greek yogurt.
  • If using fresh blueberries, you can puree them with a little sweetener and lemon juice to make your own swirl.
  • These bites can be enjoyed straight from the freezer.
  • Ensure the baking sheet is completely flat in the freezer to prevent uneven freezing.
