Description
Easy and refreshing frozen blueberry swirl yogurt bites, perfect for a healthy snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup blueberry jam or puree
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, blueberry jam or puree, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract.
- Stir gently until the jam is swirled through the yogurt, creating a marbled effect. Be careful not to overmix, as you want distinct swirls.
- Spoon the mixture into a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag with a corner snipped off.
- Pipe small dollops of the swirled yogurt mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until the bites are firm.
- Once frozen, transfer the yogurt bites to an airtight container and store in the freezer.
Notes
- For a thicker consistency, you can use strained Greek yogurt.
- If using fresh blueberries, you can puree them with a little sweetener and lemon juice to make your own swirl.
- These bites can be enjoyed straight from the freezer.
- Ensure the baking sheet is completely flat in the freezer to prevent uneven freezing.
