Description

A quick and cheesy delight, this Easy Grilled Cheese Burrito combines the comfort of grilled cheese with the convenience of a handheld burrito.

Ingredients

  • 1 large (10-12 inch) flour tortilla
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Lay the tortilla flat.
  2. Sprinkle both cheeses evenly over one half of the tortilla.
  3. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the cheese to create a half-moon shape.
  4. Spread softened butter on the outside of the folded tortilla.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  6. Place the burrito, butter-side down, onto the hot skillet.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
  8. Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, and enjoy.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other fillings like cooked bacon, jalapeños, or a drizzle of hot sauce inside before folding.
  • Ensure the cheese is evenly distributed for optimal meltiness.
