A quick and cheesy delight, this Easy Grilled Cheese Burrito combines the comfort of grilled cheese with the convenience of a handheld burrito.
Ingredients
- 1 large (10-12 inch) flour tortilla
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
Instructions
- Lay the tortilla flat.
- Sprinkle both cheeses evenly over one half of the tortilla.
- Fold the other half of the tortilla over the cheese to create a half-moon shape.
- Spread softened butter on the outside of the folded tortilla.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place the burrito, butter-side down, onto the hot skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
- Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, and enjoy.
