Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce over the shrimp and toss to coat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can marinate the shrimp in a little soy sauce and lemon juice for 10-15 minutes before cooking.
