Ingredients
- 12 large eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
- Black olive slices or edible googly eyes for decoration
Instructions
- Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 9-12 minutes.
- Drain hot water and immediately plunge eggs into ice water to stop the cooking. Let them cool completely.
- Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Scoop the yolks into a bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and white vinegar to the yolks. Mash with a fork until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- Decorate the deviled eggs to look creepy: use olive slices for eyes or spiders, or add edible googly eyes. Sprinkle with paprika for a bloody effect.

- For a smoother filling, you can blend the ingredients in a food processor.
