These creepy deviled eggs are the perfect spooky and delicious treat for your Halloween party. Easy to make and sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Black olive slices or edible googly eyes for decoration

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 9-12 minutes.
  2. Drain hot water and immediately plunge eggs into ice water to stop the cooking. Let them cool completely.
  3. Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  4. Scoop the yolks into a bowl.
  5. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and white vinegar to the yolks. Mash with a fork until smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  8. Decorate the deviled eggs to look creepy: use olive slices for eyes or spiders, or add edible googly eyes. Sprinkle with paprika for a bloody effect.
