Description
Crack Burgers are a crave-worthy explosion of flavor, featuring juicy patties seasoned to perfection and topped with a delectable, addictive sauce that makes them utterly irresistible.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 4 burger buns
- Butter, for toasting buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or a cast-iron skillet to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the burgers tough.
- Divide the meat into four equal portions and form them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
- Grill or pan-fry the patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, lightly butter the cut sides of the burger buns and toast them on the grill or in a separate pan until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the toasted buns. Add your favorite optional toppings and the special ‘crack’ sauce (recipe not provided in the article, assume it’s a separate component).
Notes
- For an even juicier burger, don’t press down on the patties while they are cooking.
- Ensure your grill or skillet is hot before placing the burgers on it for a good sear.
- The ‘crack’ sauce is key to the burger’s addictive flavor; ensure you have a delicious recipe for it!
