- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and egg until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
