Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (jellied or whole berry)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sugar (for topping, optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Spread the cranberry mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll up the puff pastry.
  6. Slice the roll into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  7. Place the roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
  8. Brush the tops of the roll-ups with the beaten egg wash.
  9. Sprinkle with coarse sugar, if desired.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
