Description

A delicious and spicy Cajun-inspired ramen dish featuring succulent shrimp and flavorful garlic.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz ramen noodles
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with Cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has slightly thickened.
  5. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your desired level of spice.
  • For a lighter sauce, you can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrients and flavor.
