Description
A delicious and spicy Cajun-inspired ramen dish featuring succulent shrimp and flavorful garlic.
Ingredients
- 8 oz ramen noodles
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and season with Cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your desired level of spice.
- For a lighter sauce, you can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrients and flavor.
