Description

A quick and easy recipe for Beef and Broccoli Noodles, perfect for a weeknight meal. This dish features tender beef, crisp broccoli, and savory noodles coated in a delicious sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the same skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Return beef to the skillet. Add beef broth, sugar, and soy sauce (if needed). Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  7. Toss in the cooked egg noodles and stir everything together until well coated with the sauce.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • You can substitute other types of noodles if egg noodles are not available.
