Description
A quick and easy recipe for Beef and Broccoli Noodles, perfect for a weeknight meal. This dish features tender beef, crisp broccoli, and savory noodles coated in a delicious sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- Add broccoli florets to the same skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return beef to the skillet. Add beef broth, sugar, and soy sauce (if needed). Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Toss in the cooked egg noodles and stir everything together until well coated with the sauce.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute other types of noodles if egg noodles are not available.
- Ensure the beef is thinly sliced for quick cooking.
