Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (sourdough is recommended)
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/4 cup crumbled chorizo
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes or a drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra flavor
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown and crispy.
- While the bread is toasting, heat the olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the crumbled chorizo and cook until crispy, about 3-5 minutes. Set aside and drain any excess oil.
- Mash the avocado in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread slices.
