- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together apple butter, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until well combined.

- If using, fold in the chopped walnuts.

Notes
- Ensure your apple butter is smooth for the best filling consistency.
- Adjust spices to your personal preference.
- For a decorative touch, you can create a lattice top with extra pie crust dough.
